MASSIVEGOOD

MASSIVEGOOD

Allianz Global Assistance is an official partner of MASSIVEGOOD, a humanitarian aid project launched by the Millenium Foundation on September 23rd 2009 in New York during the United Nations General Assembly. It is the Group’s first truly global CSR initiative.

How does it work? Thanks to MASSIVEGOOD, travellers worldwide will be able to volunteer small financial contributions when they purchase airline tickets or travel services. The collected funds will be used by UNITAID, a partner organisation of the World Health Organisation, to combat against HIV/AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis in developing countries.

For our part, Allianz Global Assistance will offer our international call center assistance services to respond by telephone to donor inquiries. MASSIVEGOOD will first be operational in the USA, the UK, Austria, Switzerland and Germany. It will be rolled out in other countries later in 2010.

"Allianz Global Assistance is extremely proud to partner with MASSIVEGOOD and to bring a tangible contribution to such a universal cause. This partnership perfectly demonstrates the mission of Allianz Global Assistance and the involvement and willingness of our staff members to help people anywhere, anytime."
Jon Ansell, CEO Mondial Assistance USA and a Member of Allianz Global Assistance’s Executive Committee.
